A word from Tamar:
I previously worked as a professional ice skater, in shows such as Holiday on Ice and also in established shows in Monte Carlo and Portugal. One of the most memorable moments was during one of the shows my dress set alight and I was hosed down with a fire extinguisher! Ice Skating gives me freedom to express my creativity and connect my body with movement, music and dance.
Before qualifying as a Physiotherapist, I worked for 10 years as a Personal Trainer in large health clubs including Holmes Place and Fitness First in London and Leeds. This has helped me to motivate, inspire and achieve goals and targets more effectively which in turn has helped change people’s lives.
I’ve been involved in professional rugby working with a variety of teams including Morley Rugby Club, The Exiles (NZ & Australia Rugby Union Series) and at the 2015 Rugby World Cup with winners New Zealand. In 2017 I worked with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Wembley NFL game.
Outside of work I am a keen runner, do plenty of walking and enjoy the gym - as well as enjoying an active social life.
